Be this for increased light, ventilation or roof access Glazing Vision can guide you to an expert rooflight solution.
The move to BIM, led by Glazing Vision’s Technical Director Jeremy Dunn, elevates glazing visions products even further in the market place making them even more accessible for contractors and architects to assist them earlier in the design process.
We are fielding more requests for BIM models each week and have noted that there are some generic BIM models for our products now appearing in the market place.
Concerned that these may not be accurate representations we decided we urgently needed to be able to generate our own BIM models to ensure the accuracy of information and integrity of models. After all we are seen as the market leader with a high quality product and we need this to be reflected in all that we do including the BIM models for our product range.
We plan to make available BIM models for our entire product range and will be the first glass rooflight manufacturer to offer this.
Jeremy Dunn – Technical Director

24th May 2012 - Adris BIM Conference 2012 This year’s event was held at the New Autodesk offices in Farnborough and with BIM becoming a central focus for many construction companies and contractors, the event was well attended by a wide diversity of construction industry disciplines.
The agenda covered both the new features in Autodesk building design suites as well as a session of tips and tricks to help users maximise on the productivity of the suites.
In addition a session on Autodesk 360 and cloud services answered a lot of user questions and the highlight of the event was a compelling presentation of BIM in the real world by Shaun Farrell of Zaha Hadid Architects http://www.zaha-hadid.com
