Inventor Users – Where is my Supplier Content Center?

Inventor Supplier Content Button LocationAutodesk Inventor provides a built in link to an online resource that gives Inventor users access to thousands of components listed by suppliers, however it has stopped working but here at Adris we've found a fix.

Supplier Content Icon

In Inventor 2014 the Supplier Content button is available from the Autodesk 360 tab and in the online tab in Inventor 2013. Currently, this provides web access to an Autodesk Inventor Products page, and not Supplier Content Center site that you would normally get access to:

• PARTsolutions
• 3DModelSpace
• TraceParts

The reason for this link failure is because of a major overhaul of the Autodesk website that will provide a more content centric site once complete.

Reportedly the broken link will be fixed in the near future, probably within the next release of Inventor, due early April. Meanwhile users are left to work around this finding content from other sources however we have discovered a link that will, at least for the time being, get you directly to the Inventor Supplier Center:

Hopefully this will keep you going during the Autodesk website transitional period and we can look forward to normal service being resumed in the near future.
