Autodesk Young Architect Of The Year Award

Autodesk-YAYA

When it comes to it, architecture can be heavily reliant on reputation.

By having recognised awards you can provide your work with the platform it needs to showcase its full potential.

During what could be considered a difficult time for young architects it’s brilliant to see opportunities available to do just that.

The Autodesk YAYA (young architect of the year award) recognises the most promising new architectural practice in the EU.

It’s a great chance to raise your company profile and celebrate you’re achievements with over 600 peers.

And what’s more it’s completely free to enter.

The Young architect of the year award is open for entries until the 4th of September so there's no time to waste.

Do you meet the criteria?

The award is open to architects that are 40 or under, though you can also enter if you’re part of a practise where the majority of principles are eligible. If there are only two principles then they both need to be 40 or under.

Architects without the back-up of much built work are still encouraged to enter as are previous YAYA entrants.

The award is only open to those working in European Union countries and architects should be registered with the ARB or the relevant architectural body for their country.

Entry is fairly easy; you simply register online, complete a summary of your projects and say why your practice should win.

As always there’s a list of information to include, so for further and more thorough instructions visit the YAYA entry criteria.

Now in its 15th year, the Autodesk Young Architect of the Year Award has established itself as the ultimate award for young and aspiring talent.

The winner of the award will be announced at the gala dinner on the 3rd of December 2013.

For more information visit the Architect of the Year Awards web-site.

If you're thinking of entering i'd love to hear from you, especially if you’ve dealt with Adris in the past. Good Luck
