Southampton, UK, November 25th 2014 - GRAITEC, an international software developer of BIM*, CAD** and structural analysis solutions across the AEC*** and Manufacturing marketplaces, and also an Autodesk PLATINUM partner, is pleased to announce the coming together of its 3 UK companies, Adris Ltd, MicroCAD Ltd and Graitec UK Ltd into one company GRAITEC LIMITED.
Following on from the acquisition of MicroCAD Ltd earlier this year and the joining of Graitec UK and Adris it has been decided to formalise these companies into one UK entity named Graitec Ltd.
Combining these three companies will enable us to bring resource and the brands together to provide outstanding customer service to all of our clients across the AEC and MFG**** space under one umbrella with the Autodesk Platinum Status. Graitec intends to leverage this successful experience and build on its customer confidence to accelerate BIM adoption and MFG expertise across the UK from 5 sites, with Southampton as the Head Office, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Bradford and Durham.
As a leading specialist in Structural Engineering and BIM technology, Graitec has already started developing complementary productivity tools and add-ons for Autodesk Revit™ to bridge the gap between design and detailing. Autodesk Advance Steel™ and Autodesk Advance Concrete™ will continue under our Autodesk ISV contract. Many productivity tools for Autodesk Inventor™ and Autodesk Vault™ are already available.

Adris Ltd, already a highly respected Autodesk Platinum reseller in the UK supplying design software and services continues to grow its UK base, and through this acquisition aims to perpetuate growth by providing sales, support & consulting services across the whole of the UK via five strategic locations ideally placed to offer the best possible service to its customers nationwide.

Adris Ltd work with sister company AB Studio to expand the importance BIM implementation.
Recently, Adris BIM evangelist Keith Deaney was invited to join our sister company, AB Studio, to showcase the methodologies adopted by the UK with regards to BIM implementation.
He has been travelling around several cities in the Czech Republic with AB Studio for their three day BIM 2015 Alive event.
With some of largest Architects, Engineering companies and Contractors present, Adris Ltd and Skanska CZ have been highlighting the importance of project collaboration to ease workflows, reduce project costs and timescales.
This has allowed us to lead the way in the encouragement of BIM and demonstrate the importance we place on BIM when it comes to global collaboration.
As we have mentioned on our blog there has been a few changes to the offerings bought by Autodesk for Product Design Suite which will see many customers automatically migrate from Standard to Premium.
Due to the importance of this change Autodesk have extended the deadline for those customers who are currently using previous versions of Product Design Suite Standard to attach Maintenance Subscription and benefit from a free upgrade to Premium Suite.
So you now have until 30th May to come back onto Subscription and be entitled to an automatic migration to Premium Suite before Standard reaches its end of life.

Adris are pleased to announce the appointment of David Bartram to the Adris Professional Services manufacturing team with immediate effect.
David is a valued addition to our Professional Services team and will be an excellent asset for both existing and new potential clients, as he is bringing over a decade of experience using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD in a number of industry sectors including Marine, Power Generation and Filtration.
As a senior design professional David is highly experienced in large assembly design and in particular sheet metal fabrication. In addition he has been pivotal in developing best practice within the design office and Digital Prototyping environment and is experienced in data management in a fast moving manufacturing sector.
